A virtually new Storm squad in Div 1 ( average age about 17!) took a little time to settle, but once in the lead, ran away with the game against Randwick winning 40-20.
The only survivors from last year Tasha Young & Connie Trendle were joined by new players Georgia Palmer & Meg Seyers.
There were outstanding  debuts from Hannah Howl & Seyers ( earning her player of the match)
In defence Ellie Gabriel & Connie Trendle with Howl turned numerous ball over & with Seyers & Nina Perry bringing the ball through court, by half time a 12 goal lead had been established.
