Yesterday`s 6 goal win
Yesterday`s 6 goal win by Lightning over BC Saints has them sitting top the Premiership table with 2 wins from 2! 
It was a closely contested match throughout, though a strong start establishing an early 6 goal lead proved to be crucial. 
New comer Grace Cappell @ GD had an outstanding game & it was great to welcome back Abi Tucker @ GK & Ffion Williams at the other end in the shooting circle. 
With Saints closing in all game on Lightnings 6 goal lead, it was down to a fab 10/11 conversation of shots by Williams that won the match.
Hurricanes with a completely new squad found life tough against a physical Randwick. Trailing for most of the game, Hurricanes could just not capitalise on the turnovers by the defence. However they weren`t many as Randwick shooters were on fire, netting 43/48 attempts. 
This is a re building time for Hucclecote at local league level as all the talented players have been picked up by the Stars franchise. 
Storm took on a stron Cirencester side who had came down from the Prem div last season. 
They stayed with them for much of the game but slipped to a 6 goal loss at the end. 32-38. This was an encouraging performance from a very young squad. 
The Premier squad in their first game of the season put in a strong performance against unknown newly promoted Grangetown. 
With the whole squad of 11 being utilised Hucclecote dominated from the outset running away to win 49-22. 
A good start in their bid to return to Prem 1.
