Hurricanes totally dominated their match
Hurricanes totally dominated their match v Randwick from the outset. 
Michelle Dowle & Nic Jennings were both on form converting at every opportunity. 
At the other end, it was good to see ‪Claire Richards‬ back on court.
Her partnership with Michelle Easterbrook in the circle denied Randwick shooters many chances who only managed to convert 9 goals by half time to Hurricanes 25. 
Mid court the ball moved swiftly with all players giving first release leaving their markers a step behind. This was a confident performance by the squad who ran out winners 60 - 25. 
Joint players were the 2 Michelles, one at either end of the court. 
Lightning, not to be outdone also gave a great performance winning their match with BC Saints 55-32. Ffion Williams was in outstanding 
form netting 41/46 gaining her player of the match. 
The mid court quartet- Ella Flatman, Jenny Graham, Nina Perry & Beth Atkins all performed well with their decision making much improved. Error rate was minimal giving the shooters Williams & Elle Parker plenty of opportunities to score. 
With both regular circle defenders unavailable it fell to Ellie Gabriel & Ella Langford to step in. They did a super job & looked like they had played
together all season. 
Storm in Div1 made a gallant effort to contain league leaders Cirencester. 
With both circle defenders missing due to injury & illness it was a case of making the best use of the squad available! 
It was great to see Alice Bradley back on court who managed a 1/4 @ GK having been out all last season. 
Sophie Young, then Sam Taylor, normally at the other end shooting- worked tirelessly at GK to contain a very accurate GS. 
There was some good through court play & some great feeds into the shooters by C Meg Seyers. 
 15 year old Nadine Baird shot well converting 25/30. 
The score line of 37-62 was certainly respectable against an experienced team @ the top of the table & secures Storm the all important point from the game.
